I’ve only lived in London for 8 years, so I know that there is still a huge amount to discover, but until I went on this walk I hadn’t realised quite how much history there is on almost every street! David is an amazing guide with a very relaxed, conversational style which made it very easy to ask even the daftest questions as we went along. David was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He ties history and storytelling with true passion for a variety of subjects. He tailored our tour to the area of our stay and interests of our group. We each had moments of immersive interaction, diving deeper into the subjects of interest as they presented themselves. While there are certainly must see areas, it truly felt like David was giving us his best kept secret spots. Would highly recommend his tours for first timers and locals alike. David created a bespoke tour for us at short notice to explore the secret alleys, squares and gardens of The City of London. Hidden behind the busy streets are echoes and whispers of the ancient history of this awesome city. David did a superb job of guiding us through a maze of steel and glass skyscrapers which sit side by side with Roman ruins and the history of 2000 years of Londoners. His enthusiasm and knowledge were match with perfect pace and details, keeping our unruly group of international colleagues fascinated and engaged throughout.
